REQUIEM

To the bitches and bastards
Who were stupid enough
To run for the Student Council

Our mandate is the smallest, in over four years.
Our election campaign the most filled with very dry tears.
Our council's the smallest, that has ever been.
Our job is the biggest I've ever seen.

Our budget is not small it's measly.
And the devaluation of the peso makes our finances look silly.
Many students, expect us, to provide solutions and bliss.
While some students don't even know that we exist.

Our working hours, are from eight until eight...
And every single whereas, takes a lot of debate.
We work our butts off day after day.
Yet the job is so damn thankless and the least I can say.

But enough, enough of self-pity and rhyme
The work is there waiting and we haven't much time.
