My Phone
Tuesday, March 6, 2007 I have with me now a T610. It's pretty much of no use right now since I'm in another country and to use it would too costly. I have been with it for almost three years now. You see, here it is no longer a necessity as much as it was in the Philippines. Phone booths are almost everywhere. Even the picture quality is not that satisfactory, although it still receives the occasional text from home. Anyway, what I've noticed here is that there are lot of Filipinos residing in this city. I mean you can find Filipinos almost anywhere, in the hospital, at a clinic, at the mall, restaurants, bus stations, at the cinema. In my experience, they don't greet you when you see them, unlike other residents. It's freezing here. I hope winter ends soon. |
