My Youngest Cousin
Monday, January 9, 2006

I have a new cousin. Sayang di kami magkapareho ng kaarawan. I have pictures, I haven't transferred them yet though. Anyway, his name is Gian, he has a second but I don't know how it is spelled eh, Emibert, I think. Maputi, just like her sister. Tapos kulot just like his mom and dad. Good thing I went home, as the eldest grandson, it is my responsibility to welcome him to the world, as if. When we came to the hospital, I saw my uncle at the door, and welcomed us. He was a bit nervous and moving from one end to another. Ganoon pala talaga 'yun pag naghihintay na manganak 'yung misis mo, di ka mapakali. He told me that my aunt was in the delivery room for two hours and still no baby. Gian came out after 30 minutes, more or less. I thank God that he's okay and healthy, he is 3.6 kg by the way. He's very lucky, because we were able to film his first moments, unfortunately I was unable to get pictures from the delivery room. I took pictures when they placed him inside the room where my aunt was confined. His grandmother was trying to give him dimples by pressing his cheeks, I don't know if that is right.

I got home around 5pm, I came from Katips, my mom asked me to go home because she wanted me to burn something for her. And that's what I'll do just about now.
